Stance is always grateful to help those in our community, an employee at Stance, Joel Baker’s continuous advocacy for The Bridges Shelter in Cambridge is truly inspiring. Joel played a crucial role in organizing and managing a clothing drive aimed at providing warm clothes to individuals who face the challenges of harsh winter conditions. The Waterloo Region endured a record-setting level of snowfall in February creating a snowy, bitter winter.

The Stance team generously contributed coats, boots, blankets, scarves, and more, ensuring that individuals will have the protection and warmth necessary to tackle the conditions.  We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our wonderful team for their compassion and unwavering support in this initiative and a special thank you to Joel Baker.

His actions, driven by kindness, dedication, and an unwavering passion for advocating for his community, will always be appreciated and cherished. Joel’s ability to inspire others to get involved and make a tangible difference in the lives of those around him is a testament to the positive impact one person can have. We are honored to be a part of this initiative, and we are immensely proud to work alongside someone whose commitment to community well-being is as strong as Joel’s.

The Bridges Shelter is an emergency and supportive housing shelter in Cambridge, ON, supplying 83 beds for men in the region facing homelessness. The Bridges aims to support clients and assist them with moving towards permanent, appropriate and affordable housing.
