Stance Supports VON Sakura House

 

Stance continues its mission of improving lives by design, with a $20k donation of patient room furnishings for VON Sakura House, a 12,000 square foot residential hospice that provides a supportive space for end-of-life care, and grief support. The donation includes a headboard, footboard, bedside cabinet, wardrobe, and custom fridge cabinet from Stance’s Royale series, which will be used to refresh the hospice’s ten patient rooms. Royale's comforting style and custom design will make a nice compliment to the naturesque view from each resident’s bedside. Each room also includes a private bath, deck and a quiet comfortable space for family members.


Last week, Sakura held a fundraising gala, Handbags for Hospice, to help raise funds to support their refresh and ongoing operations. This annual gala brings together hundreds of community members for a fun-filled evening with handbags, food, drinks, and laughs! The evenings fundraising goal was $80,000, which was far surpassed with on overwhelming $350,000+ raised. The highlight of the event for Stance was when Stance was thanked for their generous donation with an emotional standing ovation from the 800+ guests who were in attendance. It’s the ability to give back to our community that is the real value in what we do at Stance. We don’t just design and manufacture furniture, we are improving lives.
