Manuel G. Vesa
The Cassia Lounge Collection was designed by contract furniture designer Manny Vesa. Manny designed the Avesa Modular Seating Collection for Arcadia, which won the Roscoe Merit Award in 2006 for the Best of Year at the Guggenheim Museum and was named the Buildings Magazine 2007 Editors Choice for Top Products. He has also designed for Herman Miller, Summit and Tuohy Furniture.
Manny has served as Design Director or Consultant for architecture firms such as Medical Planning Associates, Bobrow Thomas & Associates, Gensler & Associates, Rossetti Associates Architects/Planners and others.
His varied design background includes corporate interiors, single family residences, showrooms, restaurants, environmental graphics and corporate identity programs.
He holds a BFA (Hons.) in Industrial Design from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. He has taught at the Art Center and served as a Member of its Alumni Board of Directors. His work has been published in design and architecture publications throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia.
Manny Vesa is based in Southern California.
